Ioannis Christou

Ioannis T. Christou, Ph.D. is a chartered engineer holding a Dipl. Ing. in Electrical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Computer Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA, and an MBA from the joint AthensMBA program of the NTUA and the Athens University of Economics and Business AUEB). He has worked for many large corporations in the USA and Greece, including AT&T Bell Labs, Delta Technology Inc., Intracom S.A. Greece and others; he has taught as Adjunct Professor in various Universities in Europe and USA, including Carnegie-Mellon University (USA), Aalborg University (Denmark), University of Patras and Democritus University of Thrace (Greece).
He is currently a Sr. Research Data Scientist/Sr. Technical Manager with the Research & Innovation Development Dept. at Netcompany-Intrasoft, and is an Associate Professor at the American College of Greece and Research Fellow at the ACG Research Center. His current interests include Machine Learning, gen-AI, optimization and parallel/distributed computing.
