Devoxx Call For Papers

As of today we're opening up the Call For Papers for Devoxx. The CFP application (use firefox) allows you to submit Tools in Action, BOFs and Quickie proposals. Keep in mind that presentation slots are limited and very exclusive so we can not approve all proposals ;)

BeJUG Evening Sessions

With a total of 18 technical Java evening sessions in 2009, BeJUG is almost half way this years schedule. Next week we're organizing a technical session on JSF 2.0 in Leuven, if you live in Belgium then make sure you attend!

New Parleys.com Beta Available

We're very excited to announce the next major beta release of our Parleys.com eLearning platform which every Devoxx attendee loves :)

Major New Features are:

Spaces and Channels
New 3D Player template (see screenshot)
In-presentation slide previews (see screenshot)
Timeline based discussion threads
Email notifications
MyParleys, supporting watches and favorites

In addition to this beta we're also releasing a state of the art rich media Publisher (see screenshot below) which allows you to import video, audio and slides and arrange them on a multi-track timeline. Available for Windows, Mac and Linux.

Any User Group can request a FREE Parleys channel, this way you can share your presentations like never before. Already 15 JUGs are testing the new beta release so don't stay behind!
