MinuteProject
Abstract
MinuteProject is a generator tool. It offers the possibility to generate a customize DAO layer with CRUD+ functionalities.
It generates code in the following technologies:
- iBatis,
- hibernate,
- JPA (release 0.3 of MinuteProject),
- Spring
The generated code is easy to integrate, and extend.
If I make a presentation at Devoxx, it will be very pragmatic.
Apart from the presentation of the MinuteProject architecture, I will focus on productivity by demonstrating what can you expect MinuteProject.
In a demonstration, I start from scratch with just a database and I show :
- how to MinuteProject to build all the artifacts needed to need to have a DB API for your datamodel.
- how to customise MinuteProject.
- how to integrate and extends the resulting artifacts.
There will be 3 demonstrations:
- one for spring/ibatis
- one for spring/hibernate
- one for spring/jpa

My name is Florian Adler, 34. I am a senior java developer and founder of MinuteProject.
In my IT life:
I worked as a JEE consultant for Unisys in the finance and public sector since the last 6 years.
I worked for ING 2002, le Forem 2002-2004 as JEE, DB developer and analyst.
From 2004 to 2007 I worked at the Ministry of Finance in Belgium as an senior analyst/developer. I was in charge of managing / defining / implementing a Data migration solution in the Ministry Customs service.
I joined Cronos in 2007, and work at the European Commission DIGIT DG since. I work as an architect on the DIGIT's projects where I had the opportunity to prove the benefits of using MinuteProject.
