GWT in Practice
Abstract
Part one of this University presentation will be an introduction on the latest Google Windows Toolkit (GWT) version presented by Didier Gerard and Pierre Mage.
The second part presents experience report on using Google Web Toolkit (GWT) technology starting from Beta version till 1.5 based on the several developed projects running in production.
The talk will concentrate on do's and don't list for the typical GWT project, as well as describing successful solutions to standard problems.
The talk will also highlight specifics of GWT code review process, describing on how to locate poor designed/implemented code fragments.
Additional attention will be given to performance improvements and best-practices in GWT world.
