With the browser as the client tier and with direct access to any TCP-based backend services using Flash and HTML 5 standards, RIAs have brought us full circle back to a distributed Client / Server architecture. This quickie will show how you can build a sexy XMPP group chat using Flex and Kaazing Gateway accessing any XMPP-based IM server.
