Pete Muir leads the JSR-346 (CDI 1.1) specification, and works on Infinispan (an open source data-grid written in Java). Previously, Pete led the development of Seam 2, Weld 1 projects, and founded the Arquillian and Seam 3 projects. Pete has worked on a number of past specifications including JSF 2.0, AtInject 1.0 and CDI 1.0, and is currently working on JSR-107 (Java Cache API), JSR-347 (Data Grids for the Java Platform) and JSR-345 (EJB 3.2).
Pete is a regular speaker at JUGs and conferences such as Devoxx, JAX, JavaBlend, JSFDays and JUDCon, and JBoss World.
Pete is currently employed by Red Hat Inc. working on JBoss open source projects.
