Ever since the first version of Mac OS X was released, you could always assume that a version of Java would always be there, ready to use. Well, Mac OS X 10.7 changed all of that. What does that mean for you as a developer, and for your users? In this session we will talk about how Java on Mac OS X is changing and what you need to do to be ready for it. We'll also provide a road map for Java and JavaFX on the Mac, and Oracle's role in the Mac OS X port project of OpenJDK.
