Code Review with Git and Gerrit

Abstract

Many open source projects these days use Git or some other form of distributed version control. This presentation will take you through a brief introduction of Git with an emphasis on code review. We will introduce you to the code review tool Gerrit which was first used by the Android project but being used in a variety of places now, from commercial to open source areas. The authors will also share their experience deploying Git and Gerrit across large organizations such as eclipse.org and SAP. At the end of the presentation, attendees will walk away with improved knowledge of Git and how to effectively use Gerrit for code reviews.
