Abstract
Project Coin: Growing a Language Without Stretch Marks
Project Coin aims to first determine what set of small language changes should be added to JDK 7 and then to incorporate those changes into the platform. Besides discussing the actual language changes, this talk will discuss the criteria and considerations used to evaluate language proposals and judge their utility and appropriateness to the platform.
